Amanda Rios, teaching artist

Amanda Rios is a children's theatre performer and educator with more than 6 years of experience working with young kids professionally. They graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a Bachelors Degree in theatre arts in 2010. After years of performing children's theatre in their hometown of Rochester NY, Amanda performed and taught young performers in musicals with Children's Stage Adventures in 2015. For 8 months, Amanda toured the Northeast teaching and performing musicals with young performers ranging from ages 5-14. After moving to NYC in the fall of 2015, Amanda started working with New York Kids Club and preschool performing at birthday parties and teaching enrichment classes ranging from gymnastics and dance to steam classes. They have also worked as an actor/puppeteer for the children's theatre company The Toy Museum in Brooklyn.
