Loli Santiago, teaching artist

Loli Santiago is a Lehman College Alumni with a BFA in Dance. Since 2012, Loli has trained with hip-hop and Latin companies and toured overseas, giving her the ability to move in a style all her own. In 2019, Loli became the Artistic Director of Herbert H. Dance Company at CUNY Lehman College creating her first production called “ARMOR”, a dance story of struggle & and finding the hope to pull through the darkness. In October 2019, she performed for legendary Salsa megastars Jerry Rivera, Tito Rojas, and Tito Nieves in Concert at Lehman’s Performing Arts Theatre. Loli was able to be a part of the hit Broadway Movie "In the Heights" which premiered in June 2021. Currently, Loli is working on training in House and Latin and is interested in training abroad to develop more growth and individuality. She is also well experienced in teaching the youth in dance education since 2008 and is currently in her second year as the Program Director of an after-school program located in The Bronx.
