Marius Gheorghe Malinovschi, teaching artist

Marius has been a ballroom dancer since the age of five. He spent his youth competing in all major European ballroom dance competitions making it to the finals and podiums. At 17, he moved to Germany to represent the German DanceSport Federation, and later discovered a passion for ballet, joining (and touring around the UK and Florida with) the Saint Petersburg Classic Ballet Theatre of Marina Medvetskaya, as well as other dance styles such as bachata, salsa, merengue, hustle, etc. Marius started teaching right after retiring from competitions and fell in love with being part of this massive work of Art. Among all his artistic avenues, Marius has chosen to be a Teaching Artist because of the great purpose it serves in the world.
