Haley Edgar Yegorov, teaching artist

Haley Edgar was born in Manhattan, and started his professional training at Brooklyn DanceSport Club in Competitive International-Style Latin and Ballroom Dancing. At the age of 16, he moved to Eastern Europe, notably Ukraine and Russia, to train and compete full-time. Over the course of several years, he competed in countries like France, Ireland, the Netherlands, Moldova, Poland, the United States, and the United Kingdom, and as well as various international camps across Europe. One of his most notable achievements was attaining a Ukrainian Master of Sports in Competitive Dancing. Having moved back to the United States in 2023, he practices under world-renowned trainer Vibeke Toft in New York and performs at various shows across the East Coast, including a regular authentic folk dance show in Brighton Beach.
