Madison Meredith is a dance artist and educator originally from Gloucester County, New Jersey currently based in Jersey City, New Jersey. She holds a Master of Education (EdM) in Dance Education from Rutgers University’s Graduate School of Education, a New Jersey Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing (CEAS) in K-12 Dance Education, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Dance Performance from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. Madison is a freelance performing artist, educator, and choreographer in the greater New York/New Jersey area. She is a company member with moe-tion dance theater, SHIFT, Dance, Arts & Media, and DoubleTake Dance. Her professional choreographic works have been presented at Triskelion Arts, the David Cooper Theater at Koresh Dance, and the Adrienne Theater. Madison loves spending her time training and mentoring young dance artists, she has spent a summer mentoring and chaperoning students at The Ailey School summer intensive, and for three years worked alongside Krystal Galiczynski as her Assistant Company Director at Be You Dance Center. She is on staff as a teaching artist at Mark Morris Dance Center, The School & Community Programs at Nimbus DanceWorks, Gloucester County Institute of Technology, Washington Rock Dance, All For Dance, Linda D’Amico’s Academy of Dance, and BOLD Arts.
