Anna McGary, teaching artist

Anna McGary is a dancer and choreographer based in Brooklyn. She was raised in Lexington, Kentucky where she studied dance and musical theater until moving to New York to attend Marymount Manhattan College. There she had the opportunity to perform works by Jessica Lang, May O’Donnell (as a featured dancer), Robert Battle, Jon Ole Olstad, among others. She choreographed three pieces for the school's Dancers at Work program and performed with the improv comedy team America's Least Wanted. Her pieces have been showcased as part of the Spark Theatre Festival, WAXworks, and Fertile Ground. She is a company member with Marie-Christine Giordano Dance.
