Sloan Daley (she/they) is a performance artist and creator from Dallas, TX now working in New York City. Sloan obtained her BFA in Dance from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. She has had the unique opportunity to be the rehearsal assistant for Christopher D’Amboise, in creating the world premiere of his work, Twist. Sloan has choreographed multiple works of her own at GMU, and they have since been performed at the Mid-Atlantic ACDA Conference and Colgan High School. After graduating, they performed at Dance Place DC with Compañía Medusa under the direction of Rob Priore. Sloan’s dedication to both performance and pedagogy is exemplified by her compassionate leadership, commitment to connecting with other artists, and bringing art to other people.
