Sadiqka Reid, teaching artist

Sadiqka Reid, artistically known as Sadi Rose, is a choreographer and dancer from Brooklyn,New York. She studied dance in high school and graduated from the Dance Education Laboratory in 2025. Training since the age of seven, she developed a deep appreciation for a wide range of dance genres which shaped her versatility, musicality, and ability to tell powerful stories through movement.

From holding positions such as Director of her own creative community RoseUp, to being President of her college dance team Knemesis, leading them to the World of Dance stage, Sadiqka utilizes all available resources to help improve and relay lessons to each dancer she meets.

Combined with her bachelors degree in psychology and communication, Sadiqka aspires to use dance as a tool for healing and empowerment. Her ultimate goal is to open youth centers that unite dance and therapy, providing young people with a creative space to grow, express themselves, and build community.
