Rosetta Fair has taught dance in studios, park districts, and public schools for over 5 years. Known as Ms. Rose, she earned a B.S. in Education from DePaul University in Chicago, IL and trained extensively at the Joel Hall Dancers & Center where she studied Urban Jazz, Ballet, and Modern (Horton-based and Graham-based). She’s also studied at workshops/intensives at the Academy of Music & Movement, Hyde Park School of Dance, the Katherine Dunham Technique Seminar, Deeply Rooted Community Ensemble, and the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance where she was a scholarship recipient. Rose danced professionally with Chicago-based jazz dance company, the Joel Hall Dancers performing at many venues including lecture-demonstrations in schools. She has also danced with Tamboula Ethnic Dance Company, in addition to various freelance dance projects. Rose is ecstatic to share her passion for dance with youth and strives to inspire her students to explore their potentials.
