Eilish Henderson is a first-year graduate student in NYU Steinhardt’s Dance Education program, pursuing a degree in Teaching Dance in the Professions. She is a curious artist whose work explores the vast landscape of movement as an art form. She is honored to have performed works by Adam Barruch, Doug Varone, Sean Curran, Javier Padilla, and many more. Eilish currently dances for Six Degrees Dance Company and is a teaching artist for Notes in Motion, Brooklyn Arts Council, and Usdan Center for the Performing Arts. She is a graduate of Hofstra University, holding a B.S. in Dance Education (2018). Her studies of dance include: Toscana Dance Hub (‘16 and ‘17), b12 (‘17), and Springboard Montreal (‘18). Eilish’s future endeavors include large scope collaborative installations that reflect and refract movement. She is thrilled to embark on her first year as a teaching artist with Notes in Motion.
