Esther Sanchez, teaching artist

Esther Sanchez has always had a passion for teaching children. She earned a Bachelor's of Arts in Dance with concentration in teaching from Marymount Manhattan College.. Since graduating, she has taught at various dance and movement classes around the city with programs such as Broadway Bound Kids, BOLD Arts, Downtown Dance Factory and many other children enrichment programs! Zealous and bubbly in nature, Esther creates a fun and nurturing environment for children to express themselves, so they can grow as artists and develop a true love of dance. Her hope as an artist and a teacher is that her students not only take what they learn from the studio to the stage, but that they can take what they learn in the studio and integrate art in their day-to-day, enabling them to articulate why dance(and other artforms) is so important to their lives.
