Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, Micah McKee earned her B.F.A. from George Mason University School of Dance, training under renowned faculty Roger Jeffrey, Christina Robson, and Susan Shields. As a student, she received the Kevin Campbell Scholarship and was selected to perform Robert Battle’s Awakening under the direction of Elisa Clark. McKee further enriched her training with acclaimed artists like Juliano Nunes, Micaela Taylor, Joy Davis, Flock, and Thryn Saxon with programs like Orsolina28, Rubberband Dance Group, San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, and Bates Dance Festival. Upon graduation, McKee danced with Gin Dance Company in Washington D.C. under Artistic Director Shu-Chen Cuff. Since moving to New York, McKee has joined Caterina Rago Dance Company and Forza Dance Company. Micah is thrilled to be a part of Notes in Motion!
