Rachel Marchica, teaching artist

Rachel is a dancer, educator, and gyrotonic instructor based in NYC. In 2021 she received her BFA in Dance and Certificate in Arts Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Following graduation, Rachel completed the Dance Training and Arts Management internship with the Jose Limón Dance Foundation. She has attended summer intensives at GagaLab Online, Earl Mosley Institute of the Arts, Bates Dance Festival, Jose Limón Dance Foundation, and Boston Dance Theater. In addition to dance she is the co-host of a podcast titled Movement Toward Change. Rachel is looking forward to teaching with Notes in Motion in addition to beginning her career as a freelance artist!
