Rachel Gary, teaching artist

Rachel Gary is a New York City based director/choreographer. Most recently, she served as the director/choreographer of Les Miserables at Narrows Community Theater. Rachel received the 2017 Traube Fellowship from the SDC Foundation where she worked with director/choreographer Jerry Mitchell on Pretty Woman: The Musical. She has presented work in New York Theatre Barn’s Choreography Lab and Dance Lab NY’s Broadway Choreography Intensive. She earned a BFA in Dance with a concentration in ballet from Webster University. Some favorite choreography credits include Rachael Lily Rosenbloom… (54 Below), Idle Hands and Racing Hearts (world premiere) written by Alexander Sage Oyen and orchestrated by Charlie Rosen, HONK!, and The Pajama Game (Webster Conservatory), Jesus Christ Superstar (Young Artists Ensemble).
