Sabrina Canas is a first generation Argentine-American artist based in Brooklyn, NY. She completed her BFA in Dance at the University of the Arts (UArts) in May 2019, where she performed works by Jesse Zaritt, Netta Yerushalmy, Helen Simoneau, Marguerite Hemmings, Beth Gill, Sidra Bell and many others. Upon moving to Brooklyn, Sabrina has performed at HATCH Performance Series, Triskelion Arts Split Bill, and was featured in jazz musician Tony Glausi's music video, When It All Comes Crashing Down, which premiered in February 2021. Sabrina is currently working on projects in both Philadelphia and New York City premiering in fall 2022. She has been teaching school-aged movers for many years and loves working with her students on finding their own artistic voice through movement and providing each student with a safe space to learn and grow within dance.
