Sophia Diehl, teaching artist

Sophia Diehl is an avid dance educator, performer and choreographer with a passion for community-building through movement. As a Company Member in both Valerie Green/Dance Entropy and ClyMove Dance, she has enjoyed performing in venues such as New York Live Arts and Ailey Citigroup Theater. In addition to dancing, Sophia has been a Teaching Artist with Heidi Latsky Dance Company and the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, bringing the joy of dance to diverse groups of students throughout the city. She holds a degree in Dance from St. Olaf College (Minneapolis, MN) and a certificate in Contemporary Dance from Gibney Dance Center. Sophia is thrilled to be a part of the Notes in Motion/Amanda Selwyn Dance Theatre team!
