Thomas Welsh-Huggins, teaching artist
Emeritus

Thomas Welsh-Huggins comes from Columbus, OH, and began his artistic career by running about, reading books and climbing trees. After graduating with a BFA in Dance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, he moved to New York City to choreograph, dance, and do strange things in the name of art. He currently dances for Liz Gerring Dance Company and RoseAnne Spradlin, and teaches twice at Power Studios. He focuses on complex physicality, audience intervention and empowerment of all body/minds in his work, and thinks you should go climb a tree.
