Yoshi Sanders is a dance performer, choreographer, and educator originally from Western Massachusetts. Over the past decade, Yoshi has trained with and performed in works by a variety of artists, including Shakia Barron, Stephen Rooks, Leslie Sachs, Jennifer Archibald, Yoshito Sakuraba, Shannon Gillen, Brian Brooks, and more. Yoshi has also been involved with the Dance Education Laboratory (DEL) for the past nine years. With DEL, he has taught dance residencies at multiple public schools across Western Massachusetts, as well as led or assisted professional development workshops at Jacob's Pillow in Becket MA, the 92Y in New York City, and at the American Dance Festival in Durham, North Carolina. In 2022, he was featured in P.S. Dance, The Next Generation, a film by Nel Shelby Productions documenting a three week DEL residency in Northampton, Massachusetts.
