Caley Vancil is an interdisciplinary dance artist, choreographer, and educator originally from Annapolis, Maryland. She began dancing at age 13 and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Radford University in 2022.
Following graduation, Caley joined Todd Rosenlieb Dance Company as a Company Member for the 2022–23 season, where she also choreographed two original works for the company’s Spring and Summer Concert. Her choreography was additionally featured in the Artistic Movement Initiative’s inaugural concert. Alongside her performance and choreographic work, Caley has taught ballet to dancers of all ages, working both independently and with the Academy of Dance in Yorktown, Virginia.
In 2026, Caley received her MFA in Dance from Hollins University. Caley’s graduate research explores the intersection of movement and identity. Often drawing from visual art, performance theory, and improvisation as a mode of artistic resistance. Caley's practice embraces dance as a site of transformation.
